Kinepos complex lies near the village of Elmazudu. The ruins of the buildings comprising the complex survive on the slopes and on the top of the gorge. The most remarkable is a triconch-type domed church of the 9th-10th century. It is built of small, roughly cut grey square stone arranged in horizontal courses. The sanctuary is flanked by pastophoria. To the south the church has a square room and a chapel. The dome of the church, the annexe, and the west and the south apses are destroyed.

In the vicinity of the domed church are to be found three domed churches dating from the 9th-10thcentury. One of the churches had a door with a portico and a roof of hewn tile. It also had a crypt on the north. The vaults of all churches are ruined.
