Half a kilometer away from the Sedvi monastic complex, stands a structure the exterior of which resembles an observation tower, though the inspection of the interior space  shows that it actually served as a  dwelling of a hermit. The structure is three-storeyed. There is a chapel adorned with paintings on the second level. It was covered with a vault of which only an arch survives.
