This hall-type church with an annexe on the south stands on the bank of Lake Childiri. The building is largely destroyed, yet some of the walls and remarkable details survive. The east wall of the church, which was adorned with triangular niches, is partly ruined. Only the north niche terminating in conch survives in fragments.

The north annexe of the church has been accommodated as a kitchen and storage facility by a household living nearby. The façades and walls used to be adorned with arcades and pilaster arches. The interior preserves capitals embellished with refined floral ornaments. Judging by its stylistic features, the church must have been built in the 10th century.
