To the south of Otkhta Church stands a small hall-type church. Erected on a low substructure, it is built of roughly cut grey and light brownish stone, with water tufa stone reserved for corners and structural parts. The church has a door in the south and windows in the east and the west. The sanctuary is divided from the hall by means of small arms. The sanctuary is remarkable for its original architectural solution  – its window is divided into two parts and there are tall arched niches of the height of the apse on each side of the window. Each of the tall niches contain a small niche.

The conch and the vault of the church are ruined.

The church presumably dates from the 10th century.
