This church is located in the centre of Kakh-Ingilo, 30 metres away from the left bank of the Kakistskali River. It is built on the site of an old church of St George in the first half of the 18th century. Its latest renovation by Ivan-Baba Belughashvili dates form the late 19th century.

The church is a cruciform hall with tall, wide windows. The interior walls were painted with murals in the 20th century.

The bell-tower attached to the church has a large cross patterned in brick and stone extending on the entire storey on the east façade.
