This octagonal church is located in the village of Chataksu.

Dating from the late 9th or early 10th century, the church is built of grey, small roughly cut  stone arranged in horizontal courses. There are triangular niches between arms from the outside. The niches preservetraces of cinnabar, which allows to assume that the niches were accentuated by colour. Of the arms particular note shall be made of the east arm ending in an apse. The dome rested on the corners between the arms. Regrettably, the dome is ruined and the upper portions of the walls of the arms are destroyed. The earth level is elevated.
