A fortress, commonly referred to as Kavkasidzeebi, lies 4 km away from the village of Tekkale, on the way from Usufel, the centre of the ilche along the Chorokhi. The access to the fortress is so damaged that it is impossible to reach it without special facilities. A small hall-type church faced with neatly hewn rectangular stone is erected on a stone substructure. The entrance to the church is from the door located in the west part of the interior. The east window is almost completely damaged. The church interior is painted with murals. According to a construction inscription surviving on one of the walls, the church is a commission of the feudal lord Murvan Kavkasidze from Parkhal.
