Baghchalo Kishla is a triconch of simple design incorporating three slightly horse-shoe shaped apses. The latter have no bemas. They adjoin each other so that a right angle is formed between them. The west arm is elongated and is divided from the triconch by means of pilasters of simple profile. The walls of the right-ankled arm were plain and had no pilasters. The sanctuary did not have additional chambers. There is no trace of any extensions to the building.

All four arms in the exterior areright-ankled. They are bulit of roughly cut small cube-shaped stone fixed in thick mortar. The scale, plain composition and the type of the interior and exterior allow to assign building to the 9th century.
