Isi domed church is semi croix-libre on plan. Being a triconch, it is dated to the 9^th century.

At present, the church is partly ruined. The walls are covered with earth at the height of 1,5-2 metres and are thus conserved. The removal of earth may expose many interesting details surviving intact.

The church consists of a triconch and a west arm. The plan is based on three horseshoe-shaped apsidal arms located next to each other and lacking a bema. The intersections of apses form angles perpendicular to each other. Such planning allowed the master mason to increase the inner space. The west arm is elongated and is almost of the same length as a trefoil composition. Each of its lateral walls is articulated by means of deep, massive arches. The west, south and north façade masonries are provided with niches terminating in circular conches.
