Abaa Church in Pokveshi village

Location: Georgia, the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia,  Ochamchire municipality, village of  Pokveshi.     

Date of built: Middle Ages.

Architectural description: the church is a hall type with semicircular  apse, which is not visible on the outside. It is built with cobblestone.  The roof of the monument is partially damaged.  At the present,   the  monument is completely covered with plants.

Current condition: The territory is currently occupied by Russia, because of which it is impossible to study the current condition and to conduct the suitable works.  Church walls are in a heavy physical condition and need an urgent conservation.
