Church in Katsihabla village

Location: Georgia, the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia,  Ochamchire municipality, village of Katsihabla.          

Date of built: Middle Ages.

Architectural description:  The church is a hall type. From the outside,  the walls are preserved.  Inside, only the vault is broken down. The entrance is from the west and top of the door is arched window. The eastern apse has one window. At the north there was an outbuilding, which  is now completely destroyed.

Current condition: The territory is currently occupied by Russia, because of which it is impossible to study the current condition and to conduct the suitable works.  Church walls are in a heavy physical condition and need an urgent conservation.
