Ruins of a basilica of a transitional period survive on the outskirts of the village of Tsirkine, on the left side of the Chorokhi gorge.
The basilica is built of small, roughly cut sandy and grey stone arranged in horizontal courses. Structural parts arebuilt of water tufa.
Lateral naves of the basilica are narrower than than the midle nave. Columns and arches dividing the navesare destroyed. Imposts of a dividng arcade survive on the sanctuary arms and on the west façade.
The sanctuary is semi-circular, while the pastophoria are rectangular. The west wall has a doorway. The south and east walls preserve three windows each. The eastern windows are decorated with plain head ornaments carved of water tufa stone.
Traces of murals using cinnabar paint are visible on a few surviving plasterings.
