On the left side of the Otkhta Tskali gorge, slightly above the the rise of Otkhta Church, past a summer shed survive the ruins of Mukhlajigilic Church.
The church is a small tetraconch. Only the substructure and walls preserving at the level of the plan escaped destruction. The substructure was built of roughtly cut stone, while the upper segments were made of neatly hewn blocks. The surviving sockets indicate that the courses were horizontal.
