Location: Georgia, the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Ochamchire municipality, village of Chlou.
Date of built: Middle Ages.
Architectural description: In the elevated place, the ruins of a large wall are placed. The fence was built out of large-sized cobblestone. In some places the height of the wall is over 3 meters, the length of the walls is 500 meters. The western wall of the fence runs through the river. In the middle of the fence, there is a ruins of the hall type church with semicircular apse on the eastern side. Most of the walls was remained, the vault is broken down. The monument is completely covered with thorns and teasels.
Current condition: The territory is currently occupied by Russia, because of which it is impossible to study the current condition and to conduct the suitable works. Church walls are in a heavy physical condition and need an urgent conservation.
