Location: Georgia, the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia,  Ochamchire municipality, village of  Akhutsa.  

Date of built:  Middle Ages.

Architectural description: In the village of Akhutsa, there is fortress built over a small rock. The fortress was built with  stone. From the south-west the ravine is brought down. The rest of  the building  is bounded   by the fence. The fence is in the lower part of the castle, and the fortress is elevated place,  so the building is impressed as  two-storied construction. On the eastern side of the fortress there is  small cylindrical dwelling which is roofed with arch and rectangular door and  it joins the fortress.

Current condition: The territory is currently occupied by Russia, because of which it is impossible to study the current condition and to conduct the suitable works.  Fortress walls are in heavy physical condition and need urgent conservation.
